It's the end of the world as we know it...
    Um...I really don't even have anything to say for myself, at this point. Excluding the summary of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I haven't typed up a blog entry since....April of 2007. -_- I tend to occasionally drop of the face of teh interwebs (AKA the world) at random and then come back months later and act like I'd never been gone. That's how my blog silence began- I didn't blog, post in any of the forums I frequent, or talk to anybody online for months. Then, when I returned to the world of the internet, my senior year of high school (which was AMAZING, by the way) had begun, and I didn't have time for anything beyond cultivating friendships to the point where I could trust they'd last (I kind of view friendship like gardening, I suppose?) and fulfilling the duties I had after joining quite literally every single non-sport extra curricular my school offered...plus Track and Cross Country. XD

    College didn't turn out quite like I expected it to turn out. For example, I'm not in Japan. -_- Instead, I've already attended a year Lincoln Christian University (well, it becomes a University in September, at least). Still, I'm planning on filling out transfer applications for several different colleges as soon as they come online in August. So, I'll only be at Lincoln for another semester or two at most. I'm pretty flippant about the entire matter because, while Lincoln tends to irritate me most of the time (for reasons I'll certainly be pontificating on later), I simply...don't care. For most people, that probably doesn't make much sense, but there is very little that is actually important to me in the long run.

    So, since it's been so long since I last blogged about anything, let alone real life events, it seems that I get the rare opportunity to see just how much I've changed since I was a Junior in high school- personally, socially, grammatically, etc. After all, the senior year of high school and freshman year of college tend to be full of changes for everybody, most especially a red blooded American teenager such as myself.

    Now, this statement of course begs the question (and this is merely reflecting on myself to the best of my abilities): what about me has changed? I can say with some level of certainty, of course, that I definitely have changed, though perhaps not always in the sense that I had envisioned for myself over two years ago. Although it's difficult to remember even that far with absolute clarity on the matter (for my experience and change of mindset since then tends to cloud the memory of my opinions from that time), I recall being determined to never show any negative qualities of my life in anything I said online, so as not to "taint" this life with the far grittier, more mundane experience I lived through in the "real world". Well, with age (however little it may be) comes a deep, abiding cynicism, the depths of which even I couldn't begin to determine. *shrugs* Well, ya' do what ya' can. It is exceedingly possible that the self proclaimed cynicism and bitterness that I seem to now be sporting can simply be attributed to the overly dramatic penchant that lies deep in the core of every teenager the world over. That being said, human beings suck. Honestly, I have yet to meet a single human being worth any sort of redemption (myself included). I hate everybody, and rightly so. This is, of course, what caused me to believe wholeheartedly in Christianity, although I tend to not follow the main tenant of said religion (that is, "Love thy neighbour as thyself"; in other words, love and forgiveness for all, whether they deserve it or not). When I come across some acknowledgment of the utter rot that is life on this planet, I can only lift my glass and salute Paul or Christ for realizing this (though, being the Son of God, that was to be expected of Jesus). Then, we, as human beings, are told to still love everyone, despite all of this? Fine...I cannot honestly say I'm surprised that a divine edict such as this one would encompass something so very, very difficult to do. I have been trying, though my attempts have been halfhearted, at best.

    Naturally, my pathology would be something as obnoxious as Antisocial Personality Disorder (known to most as "Sociopathy"), making God's commandments (the ones regarding humanity, if nothing else) a wee bit...troubling, to say the least...but no matter. Like I always say, ya' do what ya' can. That is all I'm ever going to say on that particular matter (a theological discussion, however, would most certainly be welcomed, as long as it came from less close minded parties, regardless of said parties beliefs).

    In my defense for the above paragraphs, what is blogging for, if not rantings and ravings (not to mention inane babble) by American teenagers? Thus, if anyone is still reading this, we shall continue to disassemble my depraved mind...or not.

    Recently, I read the most horrible series (I use that term loosely, I had trouble making it to the second installment) I've ever read in my entire life; this is not an exaggeration. I would prefer joining a "Twitard" (Twilight fan) book club that meets in the backroom of Hollister and ogles photoshopped posters of celebrities lying nearly nude on a bed of pink silk....to reading the next debacle this author and her college-aged daughter call a "book". In other words, I would rather die and be thrown in the lake of eternal fire(because the image of Twitards and pink silk I just described to you is almost certainly hell). These books were so abhorrent I actually created a new blog dedicated to critiquing literary works, the first of which shall most certainly be...The House of Night novels. I shall begin writing these reviews only of books I find especially horrifying. However, I intend to target no specific genre; anything and everything is fair game, although I will not be "fair" or "kind" at all in my reviews. Ultimately, I even intend to review series that I myself have enjoyed, such as the Chronicles of Narnia, of Lord of the Rings. Though I may love these books, I can take issue with enough points to write up a particularly scathing review of them (as is my practice). Perhaps one may find me twisted, but this is how I have fun, and life without sarcastic wit is something I am not prepared to handle.

    If anyone is interested in reading said reviews, my account name is "Wheo_teh_Critic" on LiveJournal and InsaneJournal (the exact same information in two places, since LiveJournal has time and again proven that they cannot be trusted to follow their own TOS in regards to Journal suspension).

    Currently, I am in the middle of writing three different novels (four, if one counts the one I began only yesterday, at the request of a friend who was writing another novel of her own this month, and wanted company). The one I've been working on the longest I actually began on 1 November as my NaNoWriMo novel. However, even after NaNoFiMo ended in December, and I had written a little over 80K, I still can't seem to tie up all of the loose ends, and there is quite a bit more that must happen before reaching the end (which is already written). -_- I'll get there eventually, I suppose.

    Now, for a complete non sequiter: Although The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remains in the first slot of my "absolute favourite video games of all time", Kingdom Hearts II follows it up as a very close second, and not even because of game play (although there is little to complain about in that category). No, instead, KHII has a cast of characters that set it apart, if not far above and beyond all other video games of it's kind (that is to say, single player RPGs, my favourite type of video game, and the only kind I can enjoy more than once). The first Kingdom Hearts was excellent, of course. That notwithstanding, the introduction of Organization XIII and the Nobodies make KHII timeless, in a manner akin to the original Star Trek series. As in, due to it being driven more by it's plot and character interaction than special effects, it's staying power is such that, despite having been off the air for forty years, TOS Star Trek is still popular even today, in the world of iPods and laptops. KHII has that kind of potential...it will be interesting to see what Square Enix will do in an attempt to live up to their own legacy. One can only hope that all future Kingdom Hearts games will not simply be living within the shadow cast by the larger than life second game.

    The little Kingdom Hearts rant only came to mind, of course, because I've been watching AkuRoku music videos religiously for the past several hours. Still, what I said is what I actually believe. I have my fingers crossed (while studiously ignoring the "microsoft sellout" Squeenix recently partook in).

    Ah, something more that I intended to mention earlier: I am currently endeavouring to lose weight. It is definitely not the first time, but, being a mere forty to fifty pounds from goal weight at present, hopefully the last. I was once a stick, metaphorically speaking, and then, around sixth grade, I began taking a certain medication, a side effect of which included a severe slowing of my metabolism. Naturally, I gained an enourmous (no pun intended) amount of weight- to the point where I was nearly 400 pounds by the end of eighth grade. However, it was that year that I went off the medication. Simultaneously, I began walking around everywhere because, for the first time in my life, I actually had places to go, albeit no way to get there save my own two legs. Thus, I immediately dropped off 100 pounds. By the time I was a Junior in high school, I weighed roughly 250 (or thereabouts). After Track, Cross Country, and extensive DDR sessions, though, I am now down to somewhere in the region of 180 (although I tend to round up to 200 because it's simply easier). So...that is my weight loss journey, nearly at its end. I cannot find it in myself to be nostalgic, or actually care- perhaps now my clothes will fit, in any case.

    Well, I clicked on the "post new entry" under the old style Xanga home page knowing that this post would be, as usual, ridiculously long. While I have not exceeded my own expectations, I have certainly come to meet them head on. Try as I might to be succinct, words tend to flow out of me faster than I can control whenever I begin to type. I can only promise not to let that happen TOO much with my Critiques. ^_^;

    Random Recommendation: Pouring hatorade on the world at large. Hating humanity definitely isn't for everyone (for example, members of the Peace Corp. should probably abstain). However, if you, like myself, are an average (be honest, now) American teenager (or twenty something), go ahead and give it a try! You'll feel much better, trust me...or don't; I'm not all that trustworthy of a person, anyway. Still, consider giving it a go, and good luck hatin'! ^_^

    Complete Summary of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"
    Alright, so, very early this morning, I finally obtained the seventh book in the Harry Potter septology, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I quickly read it. However, I know many people haven't bought the book yet, and there are others who have simply haven't finished reading it yet. So, I decided to type up this summary, so that anyone who wants to know ahead of time (such as myself, who read the last chapter before going on to read the actual book) can. Specific details of obtaining the book will be recounted in my next REAL blog entry, of course. ^_^;

    Now, obviously, since I'm giving out a summary like this, there will be major spoilers for the entire series. You have officially been warned, and anyone who chooses not to heed this warning is reading on with this awareness. Furthermore, those who simply want to know who dies in the book should scroll to the very end, were I will list all character deaths that occur, permanent or otherwise. Also, I apologize for any grammatical or spelling errors in this summary. I was trying to produce this as fast as possible, so I haven't had a chance to give it the once-over.

    ~~~~
    The books begins in a Death Eater meeting, taking place in Malfoy Manor. Snape is, of course, Voldemort's right hand man. Harry Potter is back at his relative's house, and the Death Eaters are discussing the possibility that he will be moved to another location. Snape assures Voldemort that the information another Death Eater,Yaxley, has is incorrect, since the Order was leaking false information to the Ministry of Magic, which had been thoroughly infiltrated by Voldemort's forces.
    Meanwhile, Harry's relatives are being taken to a safe location, far away. They will never see Harry again, and do not reappear in the story. Harry, on the other hand, greets certain members of the Order of the Pheonix, who have come to take him to saftey. All magical exits out of the house (floo, apparation, etc.) have been blocked, so Harry will simply fly out. As a distraction, six others are given Polyjuice potion, making themselves look like Harry. The plan had been for all of them to leave with an "escort" from the Order, with each of them arriving at a safe house later, awaiting a timed port-key to take them to the Burrow (since, after the death of Grimmauld Place's secret keeper, everyone who knew of it's location became a secret keeper, including, but not limited to, Snape, a known Death Eater). However, due to Snape's information, the Death Eaters were waiting for them. A few of them go after each "Harry". Mundungus Fletcher, who had been one of the ones to ingest the Polyjuice, disapparated in fear, leaving his escort, Alastor Moody, to fend for himself. Moody was presumably hit with an Avada Kedavra, and the force of it threw him off of his broom, and he fell far enough that, had he not already been dead, he would have died upon impact.
    Throughout all of this, the real Harry is escaping with Hagrid, on Sirius Black's old flying motorbike. In the confusion, his owl, Hedwig, is hit with the killing curse. The mask of one of the Death Eater's falls off, revealing the face of Stan Shunpike, the Knight Bus attendant. Harry is reluctant to injure Stan, so he only disarms him. Since he had done the same thing to Voldemort in battle, the Death Eaters realize that this is, in fact, the real Harry Potter. One of them attempts the killing curse, but is stopped when Hagrid tackles them. Unfortunately, as they are very high in the air, Hagrid falls. Simultaneously, Voldemort is coming towards Harry, and Harry attempts to drive the motorbike fowards. He makes it into the wards of his safe house, though, so Voldemort cannot harm him. Hagrid is uninjured, so when the port-key goes off, it takes both of them with it.
    At the Burrow, Harry discovers that only Ginny and her escort have returned thus far. After intense waiting, George and his escort, Remus Lupin, arrive. While Remus is unharmed, George has had his ear blasted off with some sort of Dark Curse, making it impossible to grow back. By the time the blood has stopped, and George is seen to be alright, Fred and Mr. Weasley, Fred's escort, appear, both unharmed. Ron and his escort, Nymphadora Tonks, both arrive safely as well, leaving only Bill and Fleur left, who later arrive, also unharmed.
    Later, Harry's scar begins to burn. He is having another "vision" from Voldemort's mind. In it, Ollivander is being tortured by Voldemort, who is angry that using someone else's and still didn't work against Harry (Harry and Voldemort's winds share twin cores, if you recall). After this, Harry is eager to do something, and wants to leave to search for the Horcruxes with Ron and Hermione. However, since he's still under seventeen, he still has the Ministry's Trace on him, so they can tell if he uses underage magic. As a result, the trio decides to wait until the day after Bill and Fleur's wedding (coincidentally the day after Harry's birthday) to leave. In order to protect their families, Hermione modified her parents memories, and sent them to Australia, whereas Ron transfigured a ghoul to look like him, and the story was that he was deathly ill, with Spattergroit.
    Before the wedding, the current Minister of Magic, Rufus Scimgeour, comes to the Burrow to give Harry, Ron, and Hermione the items left for them in Dumbledore's Will. Ron recieves a Deluminator (recall the "Put-Outer" from Philosopher's Stone), Hermione a book of Wizarding children's tales, and Harry the Snitch he caught in first year (that he almost swallowed). There is a message on the Snitch, as the trio later discovers. It reads "I open at the close.", and is in Dumbledore's handwriting.
    At the wedding reception, Harry stops to talk to Dumbledore's childhood friend, Elphias Doge. While they're talking, Ron's great-aunt Muriel walks up to them. She says that she's going to buy Rita Skeeter's book, entitled "The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore". She goes on to make disparaging comments about Dumbledore, saying things such as "...he did away with his Squib sister!", and the like. However, Harry thinks that there might be a grain of truth in what she says.
    Then, Kingsley sends a Patronus, and announces that Scrimgeour is dead, and the Death Eaters are coming. Naturally, this means that the trio has to leave immendiately, rather than after the wedding. Luckily, Hermione thought ahead, and already had everything packed, so they quickly left. A couple of Death Eaters found them at a pub, but after obliviating them, the thio disapparated. They went to Grimmauld Place.
    Harry is staying in Sirius's old room, and he finds a letter that Lily had written to Sirus years ago. She mentions a certain Bathilda Bagshot, who was, apparently, an old friend of Dumbledore's. Bathilda had told the Potters many fascinating stories about Dumbledore's past, but, curiously, the page detailing them was missing.
    Eventually, Harry manages to make peace with Kreacher, and asks him what happened to Regulus's locket (yes, his name is Regulus Arcturus Black). Kreacher recounts the entire event, explaining how Regulus had allowed Voldemort to borrow Kreacher, so that he could sacrifice Kreacher to hide the locket. Later, Regulus returned with Kreacher, but instead sacrificed himself, and told Kreacher to escape with the real locket, and never tell anyone. Harry gives Kreacher the fake locket, and asks for the real one in exchange. Unfortunately, Mundungus Fletcher had stolen it, along with many other valuble Black artifacts, years ago. Harry sends Kreacher to track him down; Kreacher happily obliges.
    While waiting for Kreacher to return, Remus Lupin arrives, asking if he can help Harry on his search for the Horcruxes. Harry is angry that Lupin is leaving Tonks to go on and adventure, and is even more furious when Lupin mentions that Tonks is with child- his child. Lupin expresses remorse, since he feels that Tonks and his unborn child are outcasts because of him, and he is unworthy. Harry drives Lupin away, and then Kreacher arrives with Mundungus. Mundungus reveals that Dolores Umbridge took the locket from him. Harry, Ron, and Hermione must now plan an infilration of the Ministry.
    After weeks of meticulous planning, they decide to act. They find a ministry woman, stun her, then Hermione takes a hair from the woman (Mafalda Hopkirk) for a Polyjuice Potion. Items from the Skiving Snackboxes (invented by Fred and George Weasley) are used for two male members of the ministry, so that Harry and Ron may impersonate them. They successfully enter the Ministry, and make their way to the very bottom.
    Once they find Umbridge, they discover that she is using Dementors to torture Muggle-borns. Harry stuns Umbridge, then uses his Patronus to ward off the Dementors. The three of them, along with the Muggle-borns, make a run for it. As Hermione dissapparates, a Death Eater, Yaxley, grabs her, and ends up getting taken to Grimmauld Place with them. As a result, the Death Eaters can now enter, so the trio immediately leaves, and begins camping out in the Weasley's borrowed tent (as first seen in Goblet of Fire, during the World Cup tournament). While there, they discover that they can't wear the Horcrux locket too long without being affected magically and emotionally. So, they take that in shifts, as well.
    Meanwhile, Voldemort wants something from a foreign wandmaker, Gregorovitch, though exactly what he wants is unknown (other than it being some kind of wand). Unfortunately, it was stolen from Gregorovitch by a "handsome blond man" years ago. Harry and Voldemort continue to dwell on the "merry-faced thief" for weeks.
    Some time later, after Ron left them in anger, Harry and Hermione decide to go to Godric's Hollow, thinking that the Sword of Gryffindor might be there, at Harry's old house. When they're standing in front of the house, an old woman walks up to them. Harry knows her to be Bathilda Bagshot, a famous magical historian. She wants to talk to Harry upstairs, alone, but doesn't talk in front of Hermione. Harry later realizes that this is because she can only speak Parseltongue, since she is actually Nagini, Voldemort's pet snake, in disguise. They both manage to get away, but since Harry had been bitten, he takes a few days to recover. During this time, he relives Voldemort's flashback's of his parents last moments. When he wakes up, Hermione shows him that his wand had been broken during the attack. They are unable to put the two pieces (connected only by the Pheonix feather inside) together again, so Harry simply saves them, and temporarily borrows Hermione's wand whenever he takes watch.
    While at Godric's Hollow, Hermione had taken a book of Bathilda's, The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore, from the house. Harry reads it, and is disillusioned by the truths he discovers there. Dumbledore had been good friends with the last powerful Dark Lord, Gellert Grindelwald. There is an old letter from Dumbledore to Grindelwald, speaking of how the "Greater Good" is more important than anything else, and that Wizards are superior to Muggles.
    One night, while Harry had watch, he sees a silver-white doe, which he later realized is a Patronus. As it walks away, Harry follows it, and it eventually leads him to a small pool in the middle of the forest. At the bottom of the pool is the Sword of Gryffindor. Harry retrieves it, but forgets to take off the Horcrux. It attempts to strangle him, but he is saved by Ron, who has returned. Once they're out of the pool, Harry opens the locket, and Ron stabs it with the sword. Another Horcrux is now gone.
    Later, Hermione is trying to figure out what a symbol in the books she's reading means. Harry recognizes it as the symbol that Xenophilius Lovegood (Luna Lovegood's father) was wearing around his neck, that was also, supposedly, the symbol of Grindelwald. The three of them decide to go visit Xenophilius, and ask him about it, since the Quibbler has been so anti-Voldemort. When they visit him, though, he tells them the story of the Deathly Hallows. As legend has it, there were once three brothers. They cheated Death, so Death gives each of them a prize. The eldest brother recieves the most powerful wand ever- the Elder Wand. The second brother recieves a stne that will "bring the dead back to life", though only in a cruel imitation thereof. The youngest brother, however, recieves a "Cloak of Invisibility". This cloak is better than any other invisibility cloak, since it is impervious to many spells, and never deteriorates or stops working, like all the others. Xenophilius says that whoever wears the symbol he was wearing just means to say that they are on a Quest for the Deathly Hallows. The Cloak of invisibility must be passed on willingly by whomever owned it previously, the Resurrection Stone can simply be found, but the Elder Wand must capture it from it's previous owner to be the master of it. Therefore, ti has an extremely bloody history, of Wizards being killed simply so others could possess this wand. It's current whereabouts are unknown, however. Still, Harry realized that this must be what Voldemort has been searching for. Also, he suspects that his invisibility cloak, which has existed for decades, at least, is probably the famed Cloak of Invisibility, meaning he descended from the third brother, Ignotus, who was buried in Godric's Hollow graveyard.
    Harry gets up and begins to walk around the Lovegood household. When he happens upon Luna's room, however, it looks like it hasn't been lived in for months. This is odd because it's nearing the end of Christmas break, and Xenophilius had said she was home. When Harry confronts him, he accidently sees the next edition of the Quibbler. It is now urging others to turn Harry in, if they see him. This is when they realize the trap they're in, and attempt to leave. Xenophilius begs them to stay, and explains that Luna was captured by the Death Eaters, and he won't get her back unless he turns Harry in. Though they're sympathetic to his plight, they still have to leave. However, when the Death Eaters arrive, Hermione lets them get a glimpse of harry, so they'll know Xenophilius isn't lying, and won't hurt Luna as a result. After that, they quickly disapparate.
    Days later, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are discussing whether or not Voldemort is really looking for the wand (as they realized that Xenophilius had actually been telling the truth about the Deathly Hallows). Hermione doesn't believe in the Elder Wand, so Harry tells her that Voldemort really is looking for the wand. When he says Voldemort's name, he remembers, too late, that a trace has been put on Voldemort's name, and anyone who utters it will be taken into Death Eater custody (since only Order members would dare refer to him by name). Suddenly, there is a fairly large group of people outside of their tent (including Fenrir Greyback), ordering them to come out. The three of them (along with Dean Thomas, who has also been captured) are taken to Malfoy Manor to await Voldemort's arrival. Harry's face was disfigured by a hastily cast jinx from Hermione, so no one is sure if he's really Harry Potter. Since Hermione is a "mudblood", the others are all taken to the dungeon, while she gets tortured by Bellatrix for information of the Sword of Gryffindor (which was supposed to be in her vault at Gringotts). The take out a Goblin from the dungeon, Griphook, to confirm that the sword is, in fact, a mere copy os the original Sword (though it's actually the real thing). Dobby comes to free them, and first takes Luna Lovegood, Dean Thomas, Ollivander and Griphook to Bill and Fleur's cottage (since it's an Order of the Pheonix safe house). In the meantime, Harry and Ron dash upstairs to save Hermione. When Dobby returns to leap into the fray, Harry had already taken Bellatrix and Draco's wands. They quickly leave for the cottage, Dobby leading the way. It is only when they safely arrive on Bill and Fleur's front lawn that Harry sees Bellatrix's knife protruding from Dobby's chest. As Harry screams for help, Dobby quickly dies. They give him a handsome funeral, worthy of a "wand wielder", as Griphook calls them. This is part of the reason why Griphook is willing to help Harry, Hermione, and Ron sneak into Gringotts to destroy the Horcrux in Bellatrix's vault. After they decide to do this, Harry talks to Ollivander, and confirms that the Elder Wand does, indeed, exist.
    Before they get into Gringotts, Harry has a vision from Voldemort's mind...Voldemort has taken the Elder Wand from Dumbledore's grave.
    In order to successfully sneak into Gringotts, Hermiones uses one of Bellatrix's hairs (taken off her robes when Hermione had been tortured) in a Polyjuice Potion. Ron's facial features are transfigured to the point where he looks like an old man, and Harry and Griphook are both hiding underneath the Invisibility Cloak. They encounter several Gringotts precaution, meant to ward off thieves, but eventually find the room. They find the Cup of Hufflepuff, but Griphook takes the Sword of Gryffindor, so they flee Gringotts with the Cup, waiting until later to destroy it.
    When Voldemort is told of what they stole, he realizes that they must be searching for the Horcruxes. He decides that he must check on all of them, to make sure they're all still safe. Harry is in his mind, though, and sees that the last unknown Horcrux is at Hogwarts. Harry realizes that the three of them have to get to Hogwarts immendiately, or Voldemort will switch it's location, and they'll never find it. They apparate into Hogsmeade, and are almost captured by Death Eaters, but the bartender of the Hog's Head, Aberforth Dumbledore, saves them. There is a portrait of his and Dumbledore's younger sister, Ariana Dumbledore, in the bar. The trio uses the tunnel behind the portrait to escape into Hogwarts with Neville, who has shown up to show them the way. It leads directly into the Room of Requirement, where all fo the D.A. has been hiding. Severus Snape has been made headmaster of Hogwarts, and two Death Eater siblings have been made Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and Muggle Studies teacher, respectively. Harry asks them if there is a famous item of Ravenclaw's in Hogwarts, and is told that it must be Ravenclaw's lost diadem. He goes to the Ravenclaw common room to retrieve it, but it's not there. One of the Death Eater, teachers, however, is. The teacher summons Voldemort, who realizes that they have found Harry Potter.
    Since no one living knows the whereabouts of Ravenclaw's lost diadem, Harry asks Nearly Headless Nick. Nick tells him that The Gray Lady is the ghost of Ravenclaw tower, so Harry goes to find her. She tells him that she is the daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw, and her name was Helena Ravenclaw. She had stolen the diadem from her mother. When on her death bed, her mother wanted to talk to her, so she sent a spurned love of Helena's (who was later the Bloody Baron) to find her. He accidentally kills her, and then himself. As a result, the diadem becomes lost. It was left in Albania, where Voldemort retrieved it after interrogating the Gray Lady, centuries later. When he went to apply for the Defense Against the Dark Arts postion, he hid the Horcrux diadem in Hogwarts, specifically the Room of Hidden Things. He meets up with Ron and Hermione again, who had been in the Chamber of Secrets, retrieving the old Basilisk fang, since Basilisk poison is one of the few things that can destroy Horcruxes. The cup has already been destroyed by the fang, so they hurry to get the Diadem. They meet up with Draco, Goyle, and Crabbe in the Room of Hidden Things, and Crabbe conjures Fiendfyre, which is able to destroy the diadem Horcrux. Crabbe accidentally gets killed, but the other five escape.
    At this point, the Death Eaters and Voldemort have arrived, causing mass pandemonium. Harry knows that Voldemort is in the shrieking shack, so he, Ron, and Hermione run over there to kill Nagini. They know he's waiting for them, but they have to do it anyway. However, when they arrive, Voldemort is talking to Snape. He tells Snape that, since Snape was had killed Dumbledore, he was the true master of the Elder Wand. For that reason, Voldemort had to kill him. He has Nagini bite Snape. Voldemort and Nagini quickly leave, with Snape dying on the floor. Harry runs over to him. Snape tells Harry to take some memories of his, and Hermione conjures a flask to hold them. Snape grips Harry's robe, in the throes of death.
    "When the flask was full to the brim, and Snape looked as though there was no blood left in him, his grip on Harry's robes slackened.
    'Look...at...me...'he whispered.
    The green eyes found the black, but after a second, something in the depths of the dark pair seemd to vanish, leaving them fixed, black, and empty. The hand holding Harry thudded to the floor, and Snape moved no more."
                                                                                                  -Deathly Hallows, chapter thirty-two (page 658)
    Voldemort then gives Harry one hour to face him, or else he will attack all of Harry's friends, one by one, until they're all dead. As Voldemort is giving out his ultimatum, Harry is hurriedly running to Dumbledore's office, so that he can watch Snape's memories. He dumps them in the pensieve, and dives in.
    The first memory is of the first time Snape met Lily. Apparently, they had lived just down the street from each other, and so Snape was watching Lily and Petunia playing one day, when they were both about nine of ten years old. Snape obviously has a crush on Lily Evans, and, upon realizing she's also a witch, he begins to teach her about the wizarding world. By the time they arrive at Hogwarts, Lily and Snape have become best friends. On the train, Snape is saying how he hopes they both end up in Slytherin together, and another boy, James Potter, says, "Who wants to be in Slytherin? I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" This is what Draco Malfoy says, nearly verbatim, about the other houses, over a decade later to one Harry Potter.
    James and Sirius both talk of Gryffindor, and when Snape says something good about Slytherin, Sirius insults him, and James laughs. Lily and Snape both leave the compartment.
    Years later, despite being a Gryffindor and Slytherin, Lily and Severus are still the best of friends. However, when Snape begins to hang out with Death Eaters, Lily tells him not to. They argue about it awhile, and all is resolved. However, there is one time, their fifth year, when James and Sirius are bullying Snape (recall the pensieve memory from Order of the Pheonix). When Lily goes to defend him, Snape, in his embarrassment and shame, accidentally calls her a Mudblood. Later, he stands outside of Gryffindor tower, waiting for Lily to come out and talk to him. She finally does, but only because Snape was threatening to sleep there until she came out. He remorsefully apologizes, but she will have none of it. She says, "I've made excuses for you for years. None of my friends can understand why I even talk to you." She accuses him of wanting to join Voldemort, and says that he calls other Muggleborns Mudbloods sometimes. She leaves, and they are never friends agan. However, he continued to love her, so, years later, when he is a Death Eater, he goes to Dumbledore after hearing of the prophecy, and begs Dumbledore to protect Lily. Dumbledore makes Snape promise something in return, so he says he'll do anything, and Dumbledore makes him a spy.
    In the next memory, Snape looks extremely weary and miserable, and asks Dumbledore why he wasn't able to keep her safe. Dumbledore explains that they, much like Severus, had put their faith in the wrong person. Apparently, Snape had also begged Voldemort to spare his muggleborn love. Dumbledore tells Snape that Lily's son survived, and that he, Snape, should help protect him as he grows up. Dumbledore convinces Snape that Voldemort will, indeed, come back, and Snape agrees to protect Harry, on the condition that Dumbledore never tell anyone that he wants to protect Harry. There are a couple more memories of Snape protecting Harry from the shadows over the years. Then, there is a memory from the beginning of Harry's sixth year. Snape had just saved Dumbledore's life, after Dumbledore had tried on the ring. Snape had managed to contain the damage to just his hand, but couldn't prevent it from slowly spreading, so Dumbledore realized that he had less than a year to live. Since he knew Draco had also been ordered to kill him, and he didn't want to scar an innocent like that, he ordered Snape to kill him...just not at that moment. He told Snape that he'd have to kill him sometime by the end of the year. Snape refused, and tried to protest, but Dumbledore forced him to promise. Dumbledore also reveals a terrifying truth...Harry himself is the seventh Horcrux, and must die. Apparently, Dumbledore sent Harry, specifically, to destroy the Horcruxes, since he would have to die in the end, anyway. Dumbledore said that, once he was dead, Snape must protect Harry and all of the students (meaning, he must become Headmaster, and watch over the students, even if he's still pretending to be a Death Eater), not telling Harry that he needs to die until the very end. Snape is angry at Dumbledore, and tells Dumbledore that he used him. When Dumbledore asks what he means, Snape replies, "I have spied for you and lied for you, put myself in mortal danger for you. Everything was supposed to be to keep Lily Potter's son safe. Now you tell me you have been raising him like a pig for slaughter-". Dumbledore interupts and accuses Snape of caring for the boy. In anger, Snape releases his Patronus, which is the silver-white doe that led Harry to the Sword of Gryffindor. It is the same Patronus as Lily's, because he loves her so much.
    Dumbledore goes on to tell Snape that Voldemort has to believe that Snape is really his right-hand man, and so he tells Snape to give Voldemort the "correct date of Harry's daparture from his aunt and uncle's.", so as not to raise suspicion. He goes on to tell Snape to Confund Mundungus Fletcher, and plant the idea of decoy Harry Potters in his head, so that Harry will still be safe while leaving. If Snape is forced to take part in the chase for Harry Potter, Dumbledore tells him to act convincingly, so that he can remain in Voldemort's good graces as long as humanly possible. The next memory is of Snape doing this very thing, and then Snape at Grimmauld Place, in Sirius's old bedroom, crying as he reads the letter from Lily to Sirius. He takes the second page of that letter, signed "Love, Lily", and her picture, then leaves. The next memory portrays Dumbledore's portrait telling Snape to give the Sword of Gryffindor to Harry. Snape put the Sword in the pool, then led Harry there with his Patronus. The final memory ends with Snape leaving the room for the last time, and, as Harry exits the Pensieve, he can imagine that Snape had just walked out.
    Harry decides to go to Voldemort, and let Voldemort kill him, since he, Harry, and Nagini were the last Horcruxes, and Hermione and Ron know about Nagini. On the way there, though, Harry tells Neville to destroy Nagini if he's unable to, just in case. When Harry appears before Voldemort, he doesn't even attempt to fight as Voldemort lifts his wand and casts the killing curse at him.
    Harry is now dead. He "awakens" at a place that looks very similar to King's Cross. Dumbledore is there, and when Harry asks Dumbledore if he had truly died, Dumbledore says that he did. He explains that the bit of Voldemort in Harry is now gone, and Harry can go back, if he wants to. Harry goes back. Voldemort had also collapsed, but once he gets up, he asks if Harry is really dead. Harry lies limp, pretending to be dead. Narcissa Malfoy comes to check if he's really dead. She feels his heartbeat, and knows he's alive, but she quietly asks if Draco is alright, and when Harry whispers the affirmative, she gets up and tells Voldemort that Harry is truly dead, at last. When Neville sees that Harry is "dead", he kills Nagini, like Harry had told him to. Voldemort is now able to die, though he doesn't yet know it. The is a huge battle between the Death Eaters, and the Order of the Pheonix in the Great Hall. Harry takes off his Invisibility Cloak, and goes to fight Voldemort. Most of the Death Eaters are dead now, and all is silent as Harry tells Voldemort that all of his Horcruxes are gone. Voldemort taunts that Dumbledore is finally dead, and Harry tells him that Dumbledore had planned his own death with the man Voldemort had believed to be his right-hand man. Harry then explains that, since Draco was originally supposed to kill Dumbledore, the Elder Wand had come to see Draco as it's Master. Since Harry had taken Draco's orignal wand after this happened, Harry was the master of the Elder Wand.
    Voldemort ignores him, and casts the killing curse. At the same time, Harry disarms him with Draco's old wand. The Elder Wand, which Voldemort had been using, would not kill Harry, since it recognized Harry as it's true master. Voldemort falls, and the war has been won. Harry uses the Elder Wand to repair his old wand, then discards it. Since no one will kill him to get to the Elder Wand, when Harry dies of old age, it's power will be broken. The story ends with Harryb wanting to sleep in his old fout-poster bed in Gryffindor tower, hoping Kreacher will bring him a sandwich.
    The epilogue takes place ninteen years later. We discover that Harry and Ginny are now married, and they have three children, who are (from oldest to youngest) James (middle name unknown) Potter, Albus Severus Potter, and Lily (middle name unknown) Potter. It is suggest that there is an older, fourth child, a daughter named Victoire, and that she is now in a relationship with Teddy Lupin, the child of Remus and Tonks. Ron and Hermione are married, as well, and have two children- their older daughter Rose, and Huge, who will be attending Hogwarts in two years, along with Lily. Albus is just entering Hogwarts, and James and Rose have been there a year. Draco Malfoy is also at King's Cross with his wife (who is never indentified) and his son, Scorpius, who is also entering his first year of Hogwarts. Neville is now the professor of Herbology. The epilogue ends with the children all leaving of the train for Hogwarts, as their parents watch them go.
    Last time I updated, I do recall saying "I really need to get off my ass and stop waiting so long to update".....and that was about a million years ago. -_- *sigh* Okay, well, I've pretty much just accepted the fact that I'm never going to update within a proper amount of time. I have officialy decided, though, that who cares? No one bothers to read crap like blogs, anyway (except for me, but I'm special ^_^). I swear that's not a rant....yet. Give me a few more weeks, when there's nothing to talk about, and it probably will be. -_- (I'm not really sure whether to laugh or "tsk" and shake my head at retarded statements like that...)
    Okay, well, I just reread my last entry (it's been such a long time that I had no idea what the hell I'd talked about). I now have a general idea about where I should begin talking. Beware, though, for I also have many other (mostly random) things to talk about.
    Myah...let's start off with school in general, shall we? That's actually the reason I haven't updated in so long. The summer hours here on campus are from 8-5 Mon.-Fri. That just...isn't enough time to get over here. So I just...didn't update. Yep.... Also, things were slowly winding down over at the high school, as well. Seniors left about a week before us, and that wasn't very cool. We JUST got finished with finals today! On Monday, we mostly had review, because it was our last "normal" day of school. Let me show you my schedule:
    Tuesday-
    Choir exam - I'm getting my score tomorow, on the one hours day that only I and the Junior high kids actually show up for. -_-
    Geometry exam - 55% For most people, that would be a bad thing. For me, however, I still had a C- overall in class, which means I get to move on to Algebra II next year! WOO-HOO! Thank god!
    Study Hall exam - Come on, what's there to do in Study Hall? Everyone else who has study hall just leaves (since there's literally nothing to do). I, however, went to the library AND stayed there until school was out for the day.
    Wednesday -
    English exam - A-, and I'm not sure what the exact percent is. English is my best subject, and I'm, like, the valedictorian in English (ONLY English, believe me!), so it makes sense that I got one of the two As Mr. Jordan (the English teacher) gave out. -_- The sad thing is, I know I could've done better if I hadn't been so casual about it (I wanted to read this Yaoi fanfic I had brought with me, so I really hurried through it...-_-).
    Band exam - Erm...I don't know...I don't really care, either, since I'm passing no matter what I get on the final (plus I usually fail the band final). What I love about the band final is that there are too many students for Mr. Wetmore (the band teacher) to notice if someone (coughMEcoughcough) is listening to a CD player. HAH! I had Disney's Greatest Hits vol. 2! W00T!
    World History exam - CRAP! I knew there was something I forgot! Every...frickin'....year! GRAGH! Oh well...I probably passed...with a D or a C....
    Thursday (today) -
    Human Ecology exam - No friggin' idea. I PROBABLY passed the final, but even if I didn't, I know I passed the class, so...W00T!
    Yeah....and that's what happened. Afterwards, Kerii-chan, Aniki, Harii-chan and I all went to talk to Jireto-sensei (Ms. Gillett), because she was one of the unlucky teachers who didn't have tenure while they were downsizing, so she won't be there next year. Which really, really sucks, since she's one of my favorite teachers of all time. Gragh...I got her address (so I can write her) and her e-mail address (so I can e-mail her). WOO-HOO! Oh, and she's getting a job at the University, and since that's actually much better than the high school, I'm quite happy for her (still very sad that she's leaving, though...T_T)
    Yeah....we were all planning to go to Godfather's pizza at noon, and by the time we got done talking to her, it was 11:00, so we all hurried home. Kerii-chan picked up Ross and me, and then we went and got our table, waiting for Aniki and Harii-chan. We finally got tired of waiting and went to look for them, only to find out that they had being waiting in the parking lot for US to show up for about 15 minutes! To quote Aniki, "Well, there were too many cars here so we couldn't see you...shut up." XD
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Damn it all. -_- Okay, I just typed everything above yesterday, and then I looked at the clock. It was 3:44. I forgot to mention, I recently got a paper route. Well, actually, I technically start next week, since this week I'm getting trained. The person I'm learning from, however, isn't...teaching....at all. -_- What a 'tard...oh well. The point is, all of the papers have to be delivered by 5:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and by 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. Normally, leaving at 3:44 wouldn't be a problem, but the paper route is on the opposite side of town from my house, and the University library (where my only computer access resides) is all the way on the OTHER side of town from that. Therefore....it took a very long time. Rossio (the guy I got the paper route from) eventually came with his dad (in their van) and picked me up, which is a very good thing, particularly because it started raining less than a minute later. (-Yay?)

    Aaaah! Right now, I'm listening to "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid in Japanese. ^_^ YAY! I just stopped listening to the 1st Sailor Moon opening song in German. Yeah, that one is, without a doubt, one of my favorite dubbed Anime songs of all time. ^_^ You know, most people think I'm really anti-dub, but I swear I'm not. Actually, it's pretty much ONLY the American/Canadian versions that I hate, and not for frivolous reasons such as "It's in English" or "I don't like it". Admittedly, I DON'T like it, but I digress. ^_^; Oh, and in the German dub of Sailor Moon, they haven't changed the names. Obviously, they're not pronounced EXACTLY the same, but they do a good job overall (Chibi-Usa's name if pronounced Chibi-Uza....really friggin' close, I tell ya'). In the Japanese dub of The Little Mermaid, Sebastian sing "Wonderful! Under the Sea!" Which sound super cool, because it sounds like "Subarashii! Unda da Sea!" Kyaa-hah! >_< Yeah, its pretty sweet. Naturally, though, there are some non-American dubs that suck (or rather, have certain aspects to them that...well, suck). For example, in the Portugeuse dub of DragonBall Z, Trunks sounds like a Spanish Woody Allen, and that's just...wrong. Also, in the Japanese dub of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, it (rather redundently) just sounds wrong to hear Uchiha Sasuke's voice come out of Bloo's mouth. Moreso when I'm used to the English version, where Bloo sounds quite...shrill, I guess is the word. So now you know my take on dubs (as I arrogantly assume those reading this didn't already have somewhat of an idea XD).

    Okay, well, that being said, I'm now going to move on to describing Graduation. Since I'm in Band, I have to go, but (being friends with a little over 2/3 of the graduating class) I would have gone anyway. It was extremely sad, joyous, and a rude awakening all at once. For the record, I DID NOT CRY ONCE! Not that anyone would think I would, or anything, I just needed to say that. For my sanity's sake, of course. ^_^; Well, anyway, I was over-exuberant (as is usual for me) and probably scarred quite a few of the not-quite-seniors-anymore....and right as they entered the world of the not-highschool, too. Tsk...darn. XD

    Well...that "description" was absolutely horrible. Yay...-_^

    Hmmm....what to ta-HOLY CRAP! O_O Sorry...^_^; In the middle of typing that sentence (that I was too lazy to delete), I remembered that the last time I updated this was BEFORE ACen! Omigod, that means that I haven't talked about it here! Ugh...it's been weeks since ACen ended, so bear with me, here. Where to start...oh! I know! I should explain how we got up there...heh heh. Quite a funny story, actually. ^_^; Okay, well, my dad had to work on Friday, so he was going to meet us up at the Hyatt (where ACen was located) on Friday night, around...eight, I do believe. Oh well...anyway, he obviously couldn't take Neesan, Harii-chan, and I up there Thursday night, so he arranged for his friend Chetan to come and pick us up. About two hours into the ride up there, remembered that had forgotten the registration money at home, so we had to go back and get it. -_- God, that sucked. By the time we got back, Chetan was really tired, so once we got the registration cash, I drove to my dad's house (which was, like, a pitstop, or whatever). After that, we switched out again, and Chetan drove us to Chicago. We got there at about 5 a.m., and as soon as we got our stuff into our room, we had to go and wait in the (already growing) registration line. Yes, at around 5-6 A.M.! ....but I had the Gravitation Manga to read, so I suppose it wasn't that bad...XD

    So that was registration....I can't remember much else, but I DO remember seeing the evil-know-as-Taylor. I was about to get onto the escalator with Harii-chan, when I heard someone say "Hi" to me (I can't say the direct quote, because he used my real name). I whipped around, and see Taylor standing there. I have no idea why (maybe because I just hate the guy), but I got really mad. In Harii-chan's words "I thought you were going to attack him! Even I got scared!" Er...well, I now realize that I actually WAS about to attack him. Without even thinking about it, I started slowing edging foward, as though I were about to pounce (in my defense, I've never intentionally done that WHILE trying to hurt someone). His eyes got very wide, and then he just turned and ran for it. I didn't see him again (until the bastard graduated, that is).

    Erm...that's pretty much all I can remember of ACen right now. I can assure you, though, that is was superly-awesome. ^_^; I just...can't prove it, yet. XD

    Whatever.....cragh....I totally just forgot what I was going to say...well, type. Okay, in that case, I'll just post his now (especially since it's already longer than my last post...). At this point, all that's left to say is the

    Random Recommendation: For this post, the random recommendation iiiiiiis.....the Shounen-Ai Anime Kyou Kara Maou!!!!! W00T! Dude, this Anime is, like....frickin' awesome! It's really funny, too! The main character's name is Yuuri (a reference to Yuri, which is girlxgirl stuff...like the opposite of Yaoi). XD Yeah...in the first episode, Yuuri is getting a swirly, and accidently gets flushed down the toilet into another world. XD He then proceeds to find out he's the Demon King. One of the other characters (Gunter) seriously reminds me of Souma Ayame from Fruits Basket. XD The similarities between the two are almost as great as that of Roy Mustang (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) and Kuroyonagi (I think that's it) whatever-his-given-name-is (Yakitate! Japan). Yeah...well...anyway, watch Kyou Kara Maou, even if only because I'm now threatening you (do it or suffer the terrible!terrible! consequences).

    Okay, now I'm going to go watch Mulan in Chinese, so Myah! ^_^

    MYAH-HAH!
    Ugh...I really need to get off my ass and stop waiting so long to update. I mean, that's part of the reason why I have such long posts. The other reason, of course, is that typing is just too much fun. ^_^; I just reread my last post...it was the week of the cameras. ~_~ I'm so lame...oh well, it's not like I care enough to change. XD I mean that in the best possible way, of course.

    Since I had a uberly-long rant about Karate last time, I think I'll start off talking about Karate first. So...I think my last post was BEFORE the last tournament, meaning that I I haven't talked about the practice the next evening. Well, tournaments are always (in my experience) on a Sunday (sucks for kids!), and the Monday after, Shihan is always still in...well, wherever the tournament was, and so Husband-sensei (I know, the name creeps me out too) always lets us have a "fun day". I love days like that! ^_^ We always get to do Jujitsu, knife defense, and pressure point stuff! Normally, we don't do that in Karate because they actually have those classes at my dojo, and Shihan doesn't want people who haven't paid for the classes to get the training. -_- That applies to about two people in my Karate class, one of which is me. "Sorry, sensei, I'm poor..." is my usual excuse. XD He then proceeds to hastily change the subject...wait. Crap, I totally just forgot what I was talking/typing about. *rereads paragraph* Wow, way to get off-subject, me. ^_^;

    Anyway, on Wednesday of the next week, I FINALLY had my rank test. Now, in rank tests, you're paired up with two or three people (with a similar skill range) for basics, and then for Kata. For kata, I was paired up with the friend of mine who's in high school, simply because it was getting late (past 10:00 freakin' p.m.!), and we were the youngest. However, for basics I was paired up with...two white belts. -///- I didn't even know I had dignity until it was insulted! As it turns out, though, I was just paired with the white belts because I was the only one who hadn't turned in the rank test...form...thing yet. So...I suppose it was not-so-divine punishment from Shihan. -_- Yeah...oh, and yesterday, at the first practice since the test, I discovered that I received two stripes. It sucks donkey balls, but I suppose my expectations ARE a bit high, everything considered. Ah, well... Then, everyone got called out of class one by one, so Shihan could tell us exactly what we did and didn't do. My biggest problem is that, if I get to tired, my stance becomes horrible (unless, of course, Shihan is standing right behind me with that stupid bamboo stick he has...). My hand position was slightly off, too, so I got 20 sit-ups. That's getting let off very easy, but...meh. I was so tired, I thought I'd collapse on the way home. =_=

    Oh my god, the Art Club trip to Chicago is May 3...May 3! I mean, normally that wouldn't really be that big of a deal, but...I'm leaving for ACen after school on the 4th. -_- Oh, well...ACen's worth it, I suppose. Ah, and the next book club meeting is on the 19th. Myah! Yep...

    With Choir, we've begun learning the German for "Zigeunerleiben", or whatever it's called... That, and...I auditioned for a Choir camp scholarship today. I have no idea how I've done yet, but I'm thinking it won't be too good. I sang "Homeward Bound" for my song, but a combination of a sore throat and not being able to warm up caused my voice to crack on a high G. Then, for sight-singing, I totally forgot the name of a note (it was Te). I was insane with anger, but...at least it's over now. I praying/wishing/hoping that I make it, 'cause there's no way my family can afford a price like that ($390) without the scholarship. Agh...singing is usually easier than playing in band, but sight-singing in band is definitely easier!

    Speaking of band, I just got back from the band trip earlier in the week. Okay...prepare for the play-by-play... We had to show up at the school at 3:00...friggin'...a.m.... =_= Then, we had a four hour long bus ride, which I spent by listening to my CD player and eating (food is gooooood...). At...well, whatever time we stopped, we arrived at Medieval Times in Chicago. It was better than expected. I found the "feast" however, to be somewhat lacking. We got half a chicken, half a potato, some brocolli (I have no idea how that's spelled), and Pepsi. ^_^; I was almost done before my friend Neesan had even touched hers. XD For the record, I'm not fat (due to exercise), but I love food and eating in general. ^_^; Anyway, some fighting scenes were a bit too Power Ranger-esque for my tastes, but overall it was really good.

    Afterwards, everyone was getting autographs, but I had lost my crown, so I was just high-fiving everyone. I scared the Red knight. -_-;

    As soon as we left Medieval Times, we went straight to this church that had given us permission to practice (since our performance wasn't until Saturday), and we did that for...too many hours. Then, we went to Woodfield Mall! W00T! Neesan and I went straight to Waldenbooks. Since we had recieved a coupon book that allowed us to get 15% off every book purchased, and Waldenbooks had a 4-for-3 special, I ended up getting roughly 4 graphic novels free. I nearly pooped my pants with happiness (...). I got Kodocha: Sana's Stage volume 2, Godchild volume 1, Marchen volume 2, Eyeshield 21 volume 5 and 6, Forbidden Dance volume 3, Boys Over Flowers volume 1, 2, and 3, Hana-kimi volume 8, FAKE volume 2, and Whistle! volume 6. See? 'Told ya' there'd be play-by-play...

    Yeah, and after that, we both went to a bench and sat there reading until it was time to go. Then there was only the hotel left (that day). It was...interesting. It took forever and was EXTREMENLY frustrating getting all of our stuff off the bus, getting our key, and finding our room. Apparently, there were two corridors, and we went down the wrong one at first. -_- Oh, and by "we" and mean me, and my roommates Emiri-sempai, Kerii-chan, and Neesan (I give a "Japanese nickname" to all of my friends). After we got situated in our room, Kerii-chan went to to the pool, and the rest of us went to the lobby (Emiri-sempai to draw, and Neesan and I to read our Manga). When it was time to go to bed, we went up to our room and acted "quiet" until they taped our doors (lame...). Then we acted like the retards we were (are...). XD At one point, Kerii-chan happened to glance out the window, and saw that three upperclassmen were...wrestling. ^_^; We were on the third floor, and these guys (who shall now be called dork 1, 2, and 3) were on the first floor, with their (glass) window uncovered, so anyone could see inside. Naturally, us four decided to become peeping toms. Not that we could help it...they seriously looked gay! It was awesome! XD Eventually, Kerii-chan got out a camera, and gave it to me. I stepped onto the balcony, and took a picture. It made the entire courtyard light up. After the next one, they noticed it. Dorks 1 and 2 went out of sight, and dork 3 walked right into our line of vision and stared at us. I took another picture, and he pointed (while looking like a total retard), then I took another (so he definitely knew someone had gotten pictures). The next morning, after I high-fived him ('cause I do that a lot), dork 2 asked me if I had taken pictures of them. I said yes, I did, and then we high-fived again (I and everyone around me is half-retarded, okay?).

    The only thing left after all of that was the competition. While there, I bought the sheet music for the three Lord of the Rings movies (SPLEE!), in change (my last bit of money). It was so worth it, dude. The actual competition itself, however, kind of sucked. We just played, had our clinic, and left. We didn't even get rated (god only know why)! Eurgh...then we got home at about 1:00 a.m. Um...yay?

    Um...well, that about it, so...

    Random Recommendation: is the band Psycho le Cemu!!!!! Despite their lead singer being arrested last year (causing them to go on hiatus >_>), this best has excellent...everything. They're well known for their cosplaying (XD), and their lead singer, Daishi-sama (-sama added on by yours truly), has the best voice since Kyo of Dir en Grey. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that Daishi sounds more...melodic...than Kyo-sama (blasphemy!). Anyway, my MySpace profile currently features their song Roman Hikou, so you should go and give that a gander, and one of their music profiles is on my favorites list. The bands official website is http://www.Psycholecemu.jp. Naturally, it's in Japanese, so...it'd help to know how to read Japanese. ^_^; Anyway...GO AND LISTEN, OR DOOM SHALL RAIN DOWN UPON YOUR COLLECTIVELY DOOMED HEADS OF...DOOM! (<-----too much Invader Zim, sorry...)

    Okay...that's it for now, so...Jamatta, all y'alls! ^_^ Oh, and I'll post this on MySpace...sometime this week, hopefully. ^_^;

    Hi-hi, my mighty peeps! Or..whatever all y'alls are, anyway...^_^;

    Well, spring break's officially over, now. For me, though, that's actually a good thing, so...W00T! The first day back was a monday, and, while not significant in of itself, monday was my first real karate practice in THREE WEEKS! Also, as was self-predicted, I nearly died (due to being so completely out of shape...I didn't know that could happen so fast!). Yeah, it wasn't very pleasant, but I got through it...sort of. XD Then, on Wednesday, I must have worked out even harder than usual, because I REALLY got a work-out! Wow... Oh, and I can't go to the next tournament because I don't have the cash (once again). Still, I've been practicing free-sparring like crazy, just because I can't stand absolutely sucking at something like that, especially if it's something I really enjoy, like karate. There's this girl in my karate class who's close to my age, and my friend (I guess...), and so her and I are usually partners in free-sparring and that sort of stuff. Recently, however, she's been, kind of...annoying. I mean, I'm not trying to be mean to her or anything here, but I'm really getting tired of her always calling me weak, and making fun of me for never paying attention (when I actually do, and whether of not I may seem like it shouldn't be an issue). One time, after practice, she was laughing at me in this annoyed manner, because I hadn't fought against her very well in free-sparring (it had been my first ever free-sparring session of that nature). So, the next time, I fought back, and then she was complaining afterwards that I had hit her too hard in the jaw. So, in the most recent practice, I mostly used kicks, and I never blocked her attacks, I just avoided them. However, that still made her mad. -_- It's seriously irritating, but whatever...I can probably pretend like I don't mind for about...6 more months...

    Oh, and on Monday, I went out and bought 4 disposable cameras, and spent the rest of the week taking random pictures of people and things. It was so much fun! ^_^ I uberly annoyed some people, got some physical threats, and just generally had fun, so it was all good! Yesterday, I took them to Wal-mart, and the film should be developed by Tuesday. I'm also getting digital CD copies of all of the pictures, so I might be posting some of them online...I don't know yet. It'd probably be a good idea to get the consent of the people in the pictures, but since I hang out (on the internet) in places where no one else in my school would ever go, I figure I can get away with it. Who knows, I may just not feel like posting any...whatever floats my boat at the time, you know? XD

    On Tuesday, however, we had a snow day. -_- That was seriously UNCOOL! We have to miss at least 3 days of school before we'll have an extra day, so my summer vacation is still pretty much unscathed, but...I missed a day of school! I was so sad! All I did was hang out online from 8 a.m. until about 4:15 p.m.! It was terrible! Plus, I just hate snow and cold weather in general, so that was like a double-whammy! T_T I'm insane with anger over the entire thing, naturally.

    Nyah...earlier today, I went to a my old church. My parents used to go there before I was born, but we all stopped going eleven or twelve years ago (look, I was 5, alright!?! I had no choice in the matter!). They were all...very surprised. Naturally, I didn't look anything like I did last time they saw me. Everyone kept assuming I was in college, or older. -_- Oh well... Some of them had been there the day I was born...that's kind of...odd to think of, you know? Well...they always have the leverage in a conversation, that's for sure. XD

    Oh, the Art club trip is sometime in May, and there supposed to be a meeting sometime next week. With Scholastic Bowl, there's nothing else going on...until next year. Oh, and I'm planning on joining the Tennis Team for next year. I've been wanting to for a while, but I just...didn't. God only knows why that is, though, since nothing (even myself, for once) was stopping me. Oh well... Oh, and Book Club is all but disbanded. "HAH!" is all I can say, since I really hate the librarian of our school (who "runs" book club...goddamn homophobic, evil bitch...). On the bright side, at least I can still put it on my college applications (which I have been a slave to since before I entered high school).

    Naturally, there is much more Band and Choir news than anything else. Tomorrow, on Sunday, there is a mini-concert...thing...for the band. Well, actually, it's only for those who got a I at Solo and Ensemble contest, plus a few jazz and percussion ensembles. Apparently, it's been talked about anmd discussed in band for about two weeks, but the first I knew about it was...yesterday. -_- Yay...on the me not knowing part, of course, since I really do like band, and will enjoy the performance, if only a minimal amount.

    That's just tomorrow, though. The even bigger news is organizational contest, which both the band AND choir are going to compete in next Friday. I have to bring my band uniform and my choir outfit to school that morning. Then, I'm leaving in the middle of sixth hour to drive up there with the choir, and am coming back very late with the band (who perform after the choir, obviously). I'm hoping my band director won't freak out the entire week preceding competition, like he usually (always) does, but I know he will...all I can say is "ouch" for us.

    What's probably the biggest news of all, though, is the annual band trip. This year, we're going to Chicago (yes, like the choir AND art club trips are/did XD). As usual, it's two days long. The first day is Friday, April 7, and the second day if Saturday, April 8. On the first day, we're going to midieval times (or whatever it's called), and then, after we eat there, we're going to Northfields (or is it Northwoods? Ah, well...) mall! Which can only mean one thing (for me)...MANGA! W00T! Then, we're gonna stay in this sweet hotel! On Saturday, though, it's pretty much a crappy competition all day. Oh well, it's totally worth it! I just can't wait, it'll be so much fun! ^_^

    Random Recommendation: for today is Singing! Everyone should sing, since it's not only good for your health, but fun and very addictive! Singing is my life, and I just couldn't live without it (even though I suck)! Singing is one of my favorite things in the world, and I do it constantly (much to the chagrin of everyone around me). Singing calms me down, cheers me up, and...yeah. ^_^; Okay, I'm done, everyone go find a good song to sing now!

    I shall now proceed to go skating...HAI-YAH! XD

    Note: after I submitted this, it wasn't showing up, so I tried to make it show up, and I thought I deleted it! I started freaking out, but when I went back to the site, the entry was already up. W00T!

    Yeah, I know I haven't updated in...a very long time. However, I HAVE been...somewhat...active on the 'net. Well, mostly just MySpace and RuneScape, but still, that's something. I guess...

    Oh, my friend Aniki got Tonsilitus (or however the hell you spell that), so he missed the past TWO weeks of school. Then, last Monday, I caught a cold. It sucked uberly, but since I'm over it now, I no longer care.

    On Wednesday, March 1, I went on the choir trip to see the musical Wicked! in Chicago. Wow... Usually, on school trips, I'm mostly there for the Manga. You know, I go to the malls, and then immediately hit the nearest Borders...or whatever bookstore they have there. I then proceed to spend my entire fortune (AKA my lunch money) of whatever series I feel like buying at the time. This time, however, I went to Suncoast, but they didn't have any Manga (according to the worker person, they had just run out), so I had to follow my friend around the entire time. So, yeah...the entire trip was pretty much a waste of time...or so I thought. With only ten minutes left on our lunch break, I found a Borders. W00T! I bought 5 graphic novels. It was awesome...

    The one thing I hate about Borders OR Waldenbooks, though, is that, whenever you buy something from them, they always try to get you to sign up for their...reward card...or whatever. I mean, if they just asked me once, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but they just keep hounding you. On the choir trip, I was seriously about to rip that lady's head off, but a friend of mine stopped me. Oh, she's lucky...GRAGH!

    Okay, after we left there, we went to go see the musical itself, but we ended up being an hour early. Because of this, we were allowed to go shopping around the place where we were. My group chose (completely without my consent - majority rules) to go to this...I don't know what it was. The first floor was purses, then there were jeans and shirts, and the floor we all ended up on was the shoe floor. I was ranting really loudly about how overpriced the (quite retarded-looking) shoes were. There was actually a pair of FURRY boots that cost over $1,000!!!! Oh my god, I was frickin' irate. It was just...so...RETARDED! The store workers kept glaring at me...until we left to go to ANOTHER Borders. That decision, however, was unanimous.

    Then...the musical. It was SO awesome! I can't even describe it. I've read the book Wicked!, so I thought I knew what to expect, but the musical is nothing like the book. Normally, I hate when that happens (i.e. the Harry Potter movies, dubbed Anime, etc.), but the musical was actually BETTER than the book! The songs were so good! Oh, and the guy who played Fiyero was pretty hot, so that was a plus. XD

    However, afterwards, everything pretty much went downhill (again). There were four buses on this trip: one for the high schoolers, one for freshmen (I guess they're not high school?), one for junior high, and one for sixth graders. The high school bus BROKE DOWN, so they assigned all of us to one of the three remaining. Since I'm such a lucky person, I got the sixth grader bus. Yay....not. We watched Zathura the entire time, which sucked. Woah...I thought I was immature, but these kids were something else entirely. @_@ Oh well...we stopped by the high school bus, so all of us were eventually able to retrieve our stuff. Then, we stopped for dinner. We had a choice of either McDonalds or Arby's. Everyone in my groups must be on crack, because they chose Arby's. Not only does that place cost more (no one really had any money left at this point), but 3/4 of our...group...went there! So, my friend and I snuck over to McDonalds. It turned out to be the smart choice, since half the people who went to Arby's didn't eat (ALL of our group included). Yeah...then we just...went home.

    Okay, that Saturday (March 4) was Solo and Ensemble contest. I was in a Band ensemble (Clarinet Choir), two choir ensembles (She Sings! and Gloria Deo), and a vocal solo (The Ash Grove). For Clarinet Choir and She Sings!, I got a first division rating. I don't know much about band, so...whatever, but with the choir one, I don't really think we deserved a one. We kind of...sucked. There were uber-dynamic problems, and our diction was off at points. That's what I thought, but people DO tell me I'm way too harsh on myself. Whatever... Gloria Deo got a second division rating, which doesn't surprise me at all. Gods, no one was together! Ugh...but the worst one (in my opinion) was my solo. I got a second division rating, and according to my judge, I would have had a one if I hadn't been dressed like a bum (Jeans and a t-shirt...and tennis shoes). I was REALLY nervous for my solo. Plus, I breathed at inappropriate places, my pitch was WAY off during one moment, my diction and intonation was everywhere, and my dynamics were absolutely horrible. However, I'm no longer allowed to talk about how bad my solo was, because my friends think it was really good, and banned my from criticizing it. -_-

    Anyway, because Solo and Ensemble was finally over, the following Monday my band director was actually calm (which almost never happens). However, on Tuesday he was back to normal (which is NOT normal for other people), because on Thursday we had a competition. Thursday was alright, though, despite the fact that two of my friends actually managed to weasel a certain bit of information out of me (which they swore never to tell).

    Oh yeah, that Tuesday, my friend Bri-chan called me! W00T! Bri-chan lived in my town for, like, TWO WEEKS last year, before moving back to Las Vegas. I'd been keeping in touch with her through e-mail, but then when messenger became inaccessable from the campus computers, I lost all contact with her. Finally, I talked to her again. We talked for nearly two hours. XD She invited me to go to Anime Vegas with her, but I don't think I'll be able to, since I'm pretty much poverty-stricken. ^_^; Damn...

    I had missed Karate one Monday because of a band concert, then that Wednesday because of the choir trip, then the NEXT Monday because I had to watch the varsity team compete in Scholastic Bowl (I'm junior varsity...'cause I'm a sophmore). That's THREE MISSED PRACTICES. That's why, even though it was raining uberly, and I had a terrible cold, I went to practice anyway last Wednesday. It's a good thing I did, too, because there's no practice at all this week, due to spring break. Plus, I needed an application for the next tournament, since they're due next practice (Monday).

    Yeah, it's spring break now. Which sucks, because the only thing I don't like about school is homework, so having nothing to do all day is...killing me. On Saturday, though, I got a cellphone, so that was pretty sweet. Then I did nothing Sunday, but on Monday I went to the Y.M.C.A. with Akari-chan, and we hung out there for a while. Yesterday, I went to Galesburg to buy some Manga. I got two volumes of Hana-kimi, so...BOO-YAH! Yep...despite all that, though, I'm still really bored a lot. When I'm bored, I take a walk, so I'm getting in a lot of exercise, so I suppose that makes up for the boredom.

    Anyway, I can't think of anything else to talk...er, TYPE...about, so I'll just post this and log off. Yeah, and then I might play Runescape. Wait, I need to post this on MySpace first, since I actually have the time (for once). First however, the random recommendation.

    Random Recommendation: the online RPG Runescape! Everyone should check it out, it's awesome! http://www.RuneScape.com It's a medieval adventure RPG, where you can buy/sell stuff, raise your various levels, and all that good stuff. You have to pay to have a member account, but you can have a free account that's just as good (I thought it'd be some lame "trial version" thing, but it's not). I'm a level 48 named Wheo (of course XD). Go there now, or I'll beat you with soggy driftwood.

    Oh my god! I've finally returned to all that is virtual!
    Holy Crap, I was gone a LONG friggin' time. -_- I really do hate winter break... My only computer source is school (EXTREMELY limited) and here, the library of the University (I live in a University town). However, this place completely shuts down a week or two before school gets out, and doesn't start up again until way after school starts up again for us. Basically, an entire month with no Internet. Yeah, it almost killed me. Then, of course, I was unusually busy for the past two or three weeks and never really had the chance to come here and get on the Internet. -_- It really, really sucked. Oh, and I know that this post is quite lengthy, but that's a normal symptom os computer withdrawal for me. You know, when I finally get back on, I am compelled to type a lot of stuff just...because, really.

    Whatever...anyway, over Christmas break, I read the entire Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton. It gets pretty raunchy at times, but overall it's pretty sweet. Oh, and I also recently read a book called Rainbow Boys. That book is....FRICKIN' AWESOME! Everyone in the entire world needs to go read this book, as it is just that cool. XD I can't wait to read the sequel, Rainbow High, and the one after that, Rainbow Road. W00T! >_< Okay...that being said...I've also read some other really good (Not as good as the aforementioned Rainbow Boys, of course) books. Bloody Jack is one of them, as well as...crap...I can't remember the name...Oh well. It WAS a good book, I swear. -_-

    Gyah...Karate's been...tough. The pants of my Gi are too...friggin'....LOOSE. I can't take two steps without my pants nearly falling off. It really sucks. -_- I stopped wearing my Gi, and started wearing sweatpants and a T-shirt, but two practices later Shishou said I HAD to wear my Gi. For, like, my own safety and...stuff, I guess. On the more luminescent side of things, however, I am in the process of memorizing two more katas, and all my kicks (spinning hook , front, back, side-snap, side-thrust, roundhouse, etc.) have been improving. This is very good, since I can do much more damage with my legs than my spindly little arms. XD Hopefully I'll be up to par by the next rank test. I heard it's going to be really hard, which is very NOT GOOD. I'm actually skipping the Jennifer Malloy tournament! God! It was gonna be so much fun, too...*sigh*

    Oh yeah, I've been doing better in Geometry! I DID fail the last test, but I still have a C+! W00T! I breathe easy once more. ^_^; I've actually been understanding this Euclidian Crap, so that's pretty much the reason for the particular grade. That's just Geometry, though. In English, we're doing Julius Caesar right now, so even though everything we're doing is really easy, it's also equally boring. And when I say easy, I really do mean it. I have a 108% in that class right now. I mean, English has also been my best subject, but come on! ~_~ Oh, and we're doing Medieval Europe in World History right now. World History is my absolute favorite subject, so pretty much anything pertaining to that automatically deserves a 'Yay!'.

    Speaking of school subjects, though, earlier today we turned in our registration schedule things for next year. Yep....planning out my Junior year of High School already. Anyway, from what I can remember (-_-), this is what I put down:

    1st - Computer Applications I (first semester)
    1st - Issues in Health (second semester)
    2nd - Honors World Literature (all year)
    3rd - Advanced Algebra (all year)
    4th - U.S. History (all year)
    LUNCH
    6th - Band (all year)
    7th - French I (all year)
    8th - Concert Choir (all year)
    Yeah...that's pretty much it. Computer Apps. is not only completely unnecessary for me, but also mandatory. -_- Joy...Oh, and same for Issues in Health. Advanced Algebra technically isn't mandatory, but 3 math credits are, and the only one available after Geometry is Advanced Algebra. Neh...whatever, at least all of my other classes are cool. That's definetely something.

    Before I forget, I also want to mention Solo and Ensemble contest. I'm in two singing ensembles. One is all girls, and we're singing Gloria Deo!, the other is girl/guy, and we're singing She Sings. My singing Solo is The Ash Grove. Kudos for me if I don't faint and/or have a heart attack when I sing it. -_- Oh, and I'm in the Clairnet Choir ensemble for band, but I don't know what we're playing yet.

    Oh crap...I just read something really funny. I'm afraid that I'm about to have an RLS (Random Laughter Syndrome) attack of epic proportions. Usually when this happens I can't stop laughing, and it eventually escalates to the point where I'm laughing...well...insanely. This isn't good when I'm at the library, because then I'm in danger of getting kicked out. Crap...but it's...so....funny. XD ....sniggle....yeah, sniggle. XD Oh my god....I will slap myself if I start laughing. Oh crap, people are starting to stare. That's not good - I having even started laughing yet!

    ...I just went to get a drink of water, so I think I'm better now. Wait...........yeah. Okay, random word of the minute: LICKY! I just...had to say that...god only knows why...oh well. ^_^;

    YAY! I'm finally getting driving hours in! Well, with the teacher, anyway. I already have the mandatory 25 driving hours with a parent done, and 3 out of 6 of the teacher ones done! YEAH! ^_^

    Okay....I'm trying to figure out whether or not there's anything left to say....hmmm.....no, not that I can think of. Damn.....alrighty then. Time for the very first ever Random Recommendation! WOO-HOO! Or....not. Okay, well, the Random Recommendation is the part of my...entryish things...where I recommend something cool but completely random. ^_^ Yeah...I'm bored, so thinking up random recommendations during homeroom should solve that.

    Random Recommendation for the post: ACen! ACen stands for Anime Central, which is an Anime Convention in Chicago, IL. It's usually sometime in the merry month of May. The place is always PACKED with people too -- it's inconceivably awesome! The web address is http://www.ACen.org . Everyone go there now!

    Okay, well, I'm bored now, so I'm going to go read Harry Potter slash. ^_^ I'll copy this to my MySpace blog...someday. Hopefully in the next week or so. -_- Either way....bai bai!

    WOO-HOO! Holiday Break is in...um...I do believe two days. First, however, I have to get all of my finals out of the way. Quite unpleasant, really. Oh well...It's already at least half-over... See, finals started on Monday, and we had three that day, then two today, and there will be two tomorrow. Yesterday, I had Choir, Geometry, and English. Choir was fairly easy--I was finished within the first ten minutes of the final, after all. But...my grade is something to mourn for. I got...a friggin'...98%!!! Oh my god! I'm so mad about that, it's not even funny (except, perhaps, for the fact that it is).

    Oh, and for the Geometry final...I don't know what I got yet. I keep asking, but my Geometry teacher is such a...evil, evil woman. Way uncool. The Geometry final was actually easy, but I went so slow that I had to put random answers in for a lot. I've got my fingers crossed on this one, though, since it pretty much decides whether or not I pass Geometry in general. My stupid cow of a teacher made it 20...friggin'...percent...of our grade. *dies*

    As for English...it was really easy/boring, so it's not really worth talking about. XD

    On the DBA forum, I haven't had a chance to post in the Bodoukai RP since...I think a week ago. -_- It really sucks, and what sucks even more is that I probably won't be able to again until after witer break. So Khaki, if you're reading this, I apologize for my disappearance from DBA. I should be back sometime in early January.

    Anyway, I finally got around to making my MySpace account "worthy" about a week or so ago. My user name on there is Wheo, as it is just about everywhere else. Anyone reading this should go check it out (and get their own account there, if they don't already have one). I've got the most awesome layout. ^_^ ...Okay, maybe not the most awesome, but the background picture is really cool. It's the one ring from Lord of the Rings.

    Ugh...and I need to finish the 5+ quizzes I'm still in the process of making on Quizilla. -_- I'm such a lazy bum. XD

    Oh! Oh! I've got more AIU-related news! Well, sort of... Shamora-chan said that she is definetely going, and Aniki said that he's definetely not going. -_- He really sucks...and is probably reading this. Craaaaaap....

    Okay, more random/pointless news...everyone in the entire world should read a book called Rainbow Boys. It is one of THE BEST books in existence. Except that it isn't...but it's close. MYAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

    Nya-hoi....I'm gonna log off and read some more Yuugiou fanfics...Jamatta, all y'alls.

    Holy Shinobi...lots of stuff's happened. O_O Well, actually, not more than usual, but...whatever. -_-

    Anyway, it snowed here a couple of weeks ago, and now the stuff's everywhere. Seriously...I really hate snow. Don't ask me why, I just do. Plus, there's been a lot of fog lately. Really annoying, especially when you have to walk in the crap.

    Oh, Aniki's birthday was on the eighth of December. I went to a party-thing at his house that Saturday. -_- I still remember how unbelievably rushed I was that day. I accidently slept in, so I had to run to the school on a Saturday morning to lug around big boxes of fruit for the band fundraiser. Then, I had to leave a few minutes earlier so I could run over to thios old folks' home, where I was participating in a Choir event. That lasted until about noon, and then I had to hustle on over to the bookstore and get Aniki's present, then get home, eat, and go to the party-thing (I call it party-thing because I'm really not sure what it was). It was actually a lot of fun, which I didn't think it'd be, because I'm really shy around people I don't know, and I knew 3 people there.So, yeah...I was freakin' terrified. But hey, it happens to the best of us, so no worries. ^_^ Oh, and after that, Aniki (who had JUST gotten his license) drove me to the theater, while Kerii-chan drove Sobo. They both can only carry one person under 20 in their car with them, so that's why. Anyway, we watched Chronicles of Narnia, which rocked and sucked at the same time. XD After that, we went to Godfather's Pizza, where we acted like total retards. Then...well, we all went home. XD

    ...I think the Band Concert was the Sunday after that. Whatever...it turned out alright. Oh, and so did the Choir concert, which was yesterday night.

    Okay...all week I've been trying to elevate my Geometry grade, which included retaking the Chapter four quiz with Kerii-chan on Monday, and the Chapter four test with Aniki on....yesterday. Actually, I was going to retake the chapter four test, but since Aniki is so smart, I knew he'd get done really fast, and so (since I needed to work on the project anyway), I decided to wok on the project a little instead. Yeah, the quarter project was due today. I finished the rough draft completely during the Choir concert, and the final draft at various different times throughout the day today. I'm retaking the chapter four test tomorrow.

    Oh, and I had Scholastic Bowl today...and I apparently have Art Club tomorrow. Plus, I still have to finish the reviews for Human Ecology and World History. This is because the semester finals are next week. -_- Which is, of course, absolutely craptastic.

    Oh, I was a tad frustrated with the Anime Fan-bashers in my school earlier, so I wrote an essay-ish thing on it. -_-
    "
    I’ll admit it, I like Anime and Manga. I admit it because I simply don’t see anything wrong with it. Although Anime is far too broad a medium to be generalized by what we may see on various daytime television programs, people still need to watch Anime or read Manga in order to validate their opinion.

    Most people I have spoken with on the subject of Anime don’t like it, or anything to do with it, for that matter. Now, if these people had an actual, intelligent reason for why they don’t like Anime (other than “it just sucks”, or “it’s Japanese”), I wouldn’t really mind. In fact, if their reasoning was sound enough, I might actually be inclined to agree with them (on some things). However, the only reasons I have only heard reasons for why someone doesn’t like Anime and Manga that can’t be called anything other than mindless bashing. Most peoples reasoning are usually assumptions, opinions, and speculation. If people were to so much as attempt to involve themselves in the medium (to any degree), then, at the very least, I would hear some valid reasons for why Anime is horrible.

    In fact, many of the said assumptions leave the statement-maker’s own capabilities—for ascertaining anything—in question. No one who has ever spoken out against Anime to me has ever even made a half-way decent attempt to disassemble the intricacies of this wonderful medium. When Anime is degraded, it’s not even done properly. I have yet to hear a single cogent argument, but rather petty name calling and numerous examples of “Argumentum ad hominem”, a logical fallacy that involves replying to an argument or assertion by attacking the person presenting the argument or assertion rather than the argument itself.

    I am more than interested in hearing whatever it may be about Anime and Manga that my peers take issue with, but I’m only willing to hear said arguments if there are reasonable. What is it that my peers offer to flaw not only everything I’ve said thus far, but also the medium in question. In this school, at the very least, the intelligence, normality, and personality of Anime fans are often insulted, with insinuations and outright insults often made against us. And yet, it is usually our less open-minded peers that act in the exact same manner which they so readily condemn. I have met very few not guilty of this blatant hypocrisy.

    In addition, all of the arguments I have seen against Anime/Manga fans are completely asinine and baseless, working on the grounds that since we accept things others don’t (and from a foreign culture, even), we must be absolute fanatics, illiterate, or crazed. Most Anime fans I have met are none of the above, and the ones who are usually suffer from a different cause.

    Most of my peers seem to value their opinions as actual proof, when in reality they aren’t at all factual, nor based on anything remotely solid.

    I assure you that I am not trying to promote Anime and Manga in any way, nor am I trying to say hatred towards Anime and Manga is pointless. I am merely saying that if you’re going to hate Anime and Manga, hate it for a reason, and only Anime. Don’t bring the fans into this—you hate Anime, and have absolutely no right to drag us with you. The only other thing I can say is this: don’t become so obsessed with hating Anime, Manga, and Japan in general that your view of anything to do with it becomes clouded. "

    ...annnnd I am redundant and full of crap. XD Oh well, I'm not irritated anymore, so writing it did SOMETHING.

    Well...I must say that despite what this post seems like, I'm actually in a pretty good mood. I'm just not hyper, so I seem quite serious, especially online. Oh well, I'm gonna go now. XD

    Randomivity!!! YAY! ^_^
    Wow...it's been a while since I updated this. I feel special now! ^_^

    Okay, I figure Karate is a good place to start. I PASSED MY RANK TEST!!!! I am now an orange belt. XD Practice is always so much fun! >_< Yesterday, we started out by doing the first 5 katas. -_- Oh my god....I was so lost and confused, it's not even funny (except that it kind of is). Anyway, after that, we learned some SWEET self-defense moves. Then, we did some basic Jujitsu. I had SO much fun throwing myself around and body slamming myself and...stuff. Basically, the point of it was to get used to being thrown around, because there'll be an uber-ton of free-sparring next semester. I can't wait!!! Oh, and yesterday was the last practice of this semester. This makes me very sad...very sad indeed.

    Oh, and why not expose my grades for the world to see? XD

    Choir: A+

    Driver's Ed: A

    English: A+

    Band: A-

    World History: A

    Human Ecology: B+

    Geometry: F

    ...Is there something wrong with that picture, or is it just me? Nearly perfect grades, but they're ruined by the evil known as Math. Well, Euclidian Geometry, but it's the same thing, really. It just...kind of...sucks, I suppose. XD And finals are the week after next...fun...

    'Neway, on a lighter side, today (December 8th) is Aniki's birthday!!! ^_^ YAY! Go Aniki! He's having a "get-together" (<--is actually a birthday party, and he knows it. HAH! I said it!) at his house on Saturday, and then we're all gonna see The Chronicles of Narnia. Pretty hot, you know? XD

    Well...on a even lighter note, I'm going to Akita International University for college. (http://www.AIU.ac.jp) Recently, I was thinking. Well, since I'm going to Japan, why not bring Aniki and Harii-chan with me? So I started getting them all the information on Japan and AIU that I could, and they're both actually considering it! W00T! So far, if they go, the plan is this: We send our applications in around September-December of our Senior year of high school. Then, about a week after we graduate, we take the KIX plane to Osaka. This will still be in late May, so we just live in a Gaijin house until shortly before school starts, in September. We'll take a bullet train from Osaka to Akita! YAY! ^_^ Oh, and after college, Harii-chan and I are going to buy a house (since we both want pets, and you can't have them in apartments, so it'll be cheaper if we get one house for the two-or three- of us), and just...live there. YEAH!

    Okay, well, I'm off to read Yaoi fanfics now. ^_^;

    Hey, I hate Earth and everyone on it, but for the sake of this post, let's pretend I don't, ne? (If...that makes any sense...-_-)

    Okay, on Saturday, I had my first Scholastic Bowl competition. W00T! It was a lot of fun, and I actually did learn stuff (such as...the Latin word for "east" is Orient, and whatever house King George III came from...although I don't remember). Even better, we actually won, and got to go on to the second round (or so we thought). As it turns out, it was head-to-head, and not points, that mattered, so we lost. XD Oh my god, it was SO ironic. Funny, though. People were retards on the way home (I'll say nothing more on the subject), but it was alright because I had my Gravitation CD with me. Dude, I love that music! ^_^

    Anyway, on Monday, in Driver's Ed., we drove in Golf Carts while wearing Night-vision drunk goggles. It was so cool! ^_^ Mr. Thorman (my Driver's Ed. teacher) said it would be a rude awakening to what it's like to drink and drive, but now I'm just tempted to try it. XD Temptation is all it will ever be, but it is still there.

    They had stuffed animals to represent children and real animals and whatever else might be on the road, and I ended up running over every single one. -_- Well, actually, there was one that I didn't run over, but I swerved to the right as soon as it was tossed out there, and almost skewered the teacher on a stop sign, so I don't count that. XD If it weren't for the traffic cones, I wouldn't have stopped, but there were eventually so many underneath the golf cart (since I had run over them) that it wouldn't move anymore. Oh well...I least I didn't do a turn so sharp that I fell out, like one girl did. XD

    Ah...today, Tuesday, November 15, 2005. The sophmore class (my class) took the PLAN test today. I got bored halfway through and marked 'C' for the rest of the answers, so I don't really care about that.

    I really don't feel like talking about the rest of today, truthfully. Therefore, I'll skip over Lunch-after school.

    After school, I had Karate. WAY UNCOOL! We went over everything that's going to be on tomorrow's rank test, and I think it's safe to say that I'm DOOMED. XD Yeah, I'm exaggerating...my stances are actually better than at least 1/2 the class, but I don't have the self-confidence it takes to prove that. -_- Eh....

    Okay, well...I shall no go home and continue to hate the world and feel like total crap, while at the same time refusing to state why. Jamatta, I suppose.

    NOTE: YAY! I finally figured out how to delete and/or edit posts! Therefore, I have officially deleted the evil previous post.

    Random Happenings...I guess...^_^;
    WOO!!! I've had quite a week!

    First, I bombed my band audition, and so I'm last chair in concert band. That's alright, though, since I was shooting for last place anyway. Also...the new song we're playing is SO COOL! The Clarinet part is just awesome. Yeah...and Aniki didn't get last chair. I TOLD him he wouldn't. What a retard. -_-

    Anyway, I also just came from a Karate seminar. I went to the first part yesterday night. Wow...I'm only a white belt, so it uber-sucked when we started doing black belt katas. Regardless, I still learned a lot, and I'm sure my Heian Shodan kata is much better now. ^_^

    Oh yeah, earlier this week, I got my driving permit. -_- Imagine me on the road and be very afraid. XD I drove for about two hours earlier today. I was so frickin' scared, it's not even funny. And yet...I laugh. Well, NOW, anyway. Then...not so much.

    In addition to all of that...I'm going to Skateland tonight! W00T! XD Sorry...Skateland's just the best place E-VAH!!!!!

    Okay, I have to go tell Aniki how to do something and then I'm going fanfic fishing. So..Bye-cha! ^_^

    Yep, yep, I updated again! I'm very happy for me. :)

    I ended my last post pretty abruptly, but I was posting from my school library's computers, and the clock in there wasn't working, so I had no idea what time it was...until the bell rang. XD

    Oh yeah, and yesterday, at that Choir competition that I mentioned I had to go to, I had lots of fun! ^_^ I got to sing a lot (probably more than is healthy), and...I got to eat Burger King food! I admit that Burger King isn't all that great, but I like their soda (that isn't theirs). o.o Okay...anyway, that went on until about 8:00 p.m., so I went straight to bed afterwards.

    Today, I got one People to People recommendation out of the way (I need two teacher ones, and an adult one), so that was cool. Oh, and there was an Anime Club meeting today. Back at the beginning of the school year, I was really mad about the way people viewed and thought of Anime and Manga (and Japan in general), so I asked the principal if I could start a club. Luckily, he relented, so I started an Anime Club at my school! ^_^

    Hmm...what else is new....oh yes...English. In English class today, my friend Rossio, a girl named Jihye, and myself all had to act out scene 5 of Antigone (with modern day translations) in front of the class. For some reason, Rossio and I started laughing really hard and couldn't stop. I mean, I was playing Teresias, and in the middle of a line, I started laughing and kept going for at least two minutes straight! Driver's Ed. wasn't much better, because I found out that we have to take the state test tomorrow. -_- Ugh...that's absolutely craptysmal... And my Clarinet broke in Band today. XD Wow, today really wasn't my day. Oh well...

    Anyway, I want to get back to reading Yaoi fanfics, so Jamatta! ^_^

    YAY! My attention span lasted long enough for me to update this! ^_^ That's doesn't happen very often. But what can I say? I'm a spaz. :p

    Anyway, on Friday, I went to see The Legend of Zorro with my friends. It was alright; better than I thought it'd be, actually. But then again, I'm not a Zorro fan. Afterwards, Kerii-chan, Aniki, and myself all went to Godfather's Pizza to eat. Naturally, we were all laughing to hard over nothing to eat or drink anything. -_- That...really wasn't cool. Oh well...Saturday there was a band competition, and we won first place! W00T! I was screaming and jumping around like a retard during awards ceremonies, of course. I was down there right by the gate, and my friends were high up in the stands, but Aniki says he and his mom definitely heard me. XD I had on this really funky blanket (it was cold out!) that looked like a plaid Darth Vader cape, so my screaming and jumping around was just downright...creepy. XD It was awesome.

    And then...yesterday...well, I have to explain what happened a few months ago for that to make sense. One day, I got a letter in the mail from something called "People to People" and it said I was invited to go to France, Italy, and Malta, respectively. I registered online the next day, and was told that the informational meeting for it was yesterday, October 30. So, yesterday, my dad, my sister (who was also invited) and I went there to find out about cost and all of that. It costs $5,299 per person! Yeah, that is an UBER-hinderance, but...nyeeeeeh.....

    Oh, crap, the bell just rang. I have to get to Choir and get ready for the competition (yeah, another one). Jamatta, all!

    WOAH! Hotness! This site rules! I joined because people on Fanfiction.net (http://www.Fanfiction.net) kept talking about "Xanga" all the time, so rather than rip my hair out in frustration, I decided to join as well. ^_^ *pokes random reader* This is a test post, you see. I have no idea what I'm doing right now, so I'm just babbling about nothing! ^_^ Of course, I'll probably end up doing that 99.99% of the time anyway, so it's all good! ^_^ SPLEE!!!!!

    Does anyone out there watch Invader Zim? That show rocks my socks...seriously, love the Gir. And Zim's squedily spooch (or whatever it's called). o.o Yep, yep!

    Nyeheheheh...I just got finished typing up this four-page thing on the play Antigone (by Sophocles) for my World History class (which rules, by the way). Yeah...it kind of sucked...but then again, I've read Antigone about 50 times now. o.o I also have to read Antigone for English. -_- Whatever...band's been going good, and the last competition for marching season is on Saturday. Translation: I have to wake up uber-early on Saturday morning so we can march our field show at 5:00 p.m. XD Nice...

    Oh, yeah, I should probably be practicing for my band audition, practicing for the Olympic Choir Festival thing, doing the section review for World History, doing the Study Guide for Human Ecology, translating Antigone for English, practicing my katas for my rank test in Karate, finishing the drawing I have to do for Art Club and the one I have to do for Anime Club, or updating my various Quizilla quizzes that aren't yet finished right now. However, as you can tell, I 'm not doing any of that. XD I'll do it tomorrow, I suppose.

    Anyway, back to more Yaoi fanfics for me. Jamatta to whoever bothered to read this! *salutes and walks away*

    Xanga to LiveJournal
    Hi, everyone! ^_^ I'm not actually new to LiveJournal. In fact, I had another account on here, but I stopped using it about two or three years ago. I won't put my old name up (just because I hate my old writing style and use of mechanics), but the account is still up for sentimental value. Anyway, I am now, and will forevermore be, a Xanga junkie. I always post on Xanga, and the posts tend to be very, very long. I would apologize for that, but...it's awesome. ^_^; However, I digress. My point is, I still want a LiveJournal account, but I don't want to use my old one. How do I do that, you may ask. Well, I may answer. If I do (/am), the answer would be that I'm creating this as my new account, but I'm going to (eventually) copy and paste all of my old Xanga posts up here. W00T!

    That's all there is too it, really.
